FAQ

Unlimited Storm Restoration FAQ

Q. My roof looks okay from the ground, how do I know if I have sufficient damage to file a claim with My Insurance Company?

A. At Unlimited Storm Restoration our Roofing Specialist will perform a thorough inspection of your roof. Most hail or storm damage goes unnoticed with observation from the ground. You need a trained eye on your roof to inspect closely for your damage. In most cases hail or storm damage does not cause your roof to leak immediately. It does, however, ruin your roof and you may start having leaks within just a few months if not inspected correctly.

Q. If I file a claim with my insurance company, will my premiums automatically increase?

A. Simple answer, “No.” Insurance companies cannot legally penalize you for filing a claim. Filing a claim is an exercise of your coverage rights. Could you imagine if insurance companies were allowed to penalize you for filing a claim for an act of Mother Nature? No one would file claims. Therefore, why have insurance in the first place? The value of your real estate is just too important.

Q. How long do I have to file a claim?

A. Typically, one (1) year. Fortunately, we are blessed here in Oklahoma to have up to two (2) years to file a claim post traumatic storm. However, always check your policy for specific time-lines. You could be bound by your policy and fine print.

Q. Am I under any obligation with Unlimited Storm Restoration if my claim is denied?

A. No, we here at Unlimited Storm Restoration work on a contingency basis. This allows us to do the work for you if, and only if, your insurance company approves your claim. If your claim is denied, or insufficiently funded, our Agreement may be terminated without penalty.

Q. Do I need to be at home while my roof is being installed?

A. No. We just need access to outside power, water and access on your driveway. Interior work goes without saying – Yes, you do need to be home.

Q. How long does it take to install my roof?

A. Typically, one or two days depending on the size of your roof.

Q. How much will I have to pay?

A. With full coverage, your insurance company covers most of the cost of your new roof minus your deductible. With average deductibles, you can often pay very little to no out of pocket expenses.

Q. Should I hire a roofing or contractor offered through my Insurance Company?

A. This is totally up to you. However, keep in mind that those roofing companies and contractors who work closely with your insurance company may not always be looking out for YOUR BEST INTERESTS.

Q. Why should I hire Unlimited Storm Restoration?

A. We are A+ rated with the BBB, we are A rated with Angie’s List, we are fully insured, fully bonded and we stand by our work. We take care of all your repair needs. If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. It’s as simple as that.
